Mural: The Beginning

I am having mural project for the third term of my first year. This is a group project and i am in group with: Sheena (leader, then need to mentioned first), Sky (because of his good idea about template, we can work well), Jee and Millie (they have a nice and creative design). Thanks all.

Ehmm.. Actually this is a 10 weeks project. The first 3 weeks is for designing (, playing, eating and laughing. Haha.) our own design on each wall and present them to the school's principal and the crews(client) later. Tiring enough. There was a big storm in our brain. Fun fun fun. Then the following week we will painting at Fuchun Primary School, Woodland. It is quite far. I need 45 minutes by MRT. And from Marsiling MRT station I still need to walk to the school. I guess it is around 15 minutes.

Since this is a Primary School, there will be many children playing around and bother us. Better buy some candies to settle them (and my mouth) down. Haha.

Anyway, this week is the 4th week. That's mean we will execute the walls on this Tuesday (30th of January). Our group will paint the wall beside the "Art Room" in blue monochrome. Everybody (included me) don't forget to bring your newspaper to cover the floor! Because this is a government school, if we drop paint on the floor, we must lick it out. .^^.

We must paint on a quite long wall (and we wont get paid.) You can see the pictures here. Interesting? And the design have chosen already. It is mine. I never wonder if it will. Thanks God. This is the design:

Here is the description. The 1st to 3rd wall's design was adjusted from Picasso painting titled "Francoise with Her Daughter Paloma an Son Claude." The painting on the stairs is from Dali's "Pierrot Playing The Guitar." I took the Pierrot's head. Haha. The 4th wall is painting from Picasso again. (I forget the title. I will update this later. Hehe.) The design on 5th and 6th wall is from my painting. It titled "Violin and Brush." On the next wall is my self-portrait. I adjusted it into cubism (and it looks no more like me.) And on the last wall is design from the next-wall-group. It's Picasso's portrait. We share the design to make the walls have relation each other. Oops. I forgot to discuss with Li, the group leader of the-other-side-wall-group about how to combine our design at the meeting point. Hehe. I will post the design later.
