Artist's Statement

I enjoy poetry and how words can developed into depth of feeling to create an imagination that expresses many points of view. The fine arts allow me to seek many ways to apply my imaginative thoughts into it. I like to explore ideas of the unreal, illogic, and imaginative.

I employ the unconscious mind to create imaginative a dream like state. Sometimes, it also can create fantasy ideas. I am inspired by Pablo Picasso in painting cubism that break up certain subject matter and reassemble them in another form. The suggestion of multiple view points is very interesting. I also enjoy the abstract view on my art works. The ambiguous form or line works that they create result in interesting composition.
